This full immersion course aims to bring students beyond the intermediate towards an advanced level of proficiency in Spanish. Students will develop fluency and communicative competence through exposure to literary texts, newspaper and web articles, films and videos, and their cultural contexts. The advanced student can narrate in all the major time frames and participate in informal and some formal conversations. Emphasis will be on conversation strategies, vocabulary expansion and writing in several different areas. No textbook is required for this course.
