Andrew Klein, Ph.D.

Andrew Klein, Ph.D. is a Lecturer in the Program in Writing and Communication at Rice University where he teaches classes on 20th- and 21st-century literature and culture. He earned his B.A. in English from the University of Michigan and his Ph.D. in English from Rice University. He has also worked for HISD and the McGovern Center for Humanities and Ethics. His current research interests include contemporary poetry, the history of popular music, the culture of walking, and sound studies.
