Rachel Mohl is Assistant Curator of Latin American and Latino Art at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston. She joined the museum in 2011 as Curatorial Assistant and was promoted to her current position in 2016. Rachel has a B.A. in Art History from Washington University in St. Louis, an M.A. in Latin American Art History from the University of Texas at Austin and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Latin American Art History at Rice University. Rachel co-curated Contingent Beauty: Contemporary Art from Latin America (2020) and Carmen Herrera: Structuring Surfaces (2020) at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, and has actively participated and contributed to various other research projects and exhibitions. She has also published texts on Regina Silveira, Carlos Rojas, Johanna Calle, Grupo Mondongo, Xul Solar, Eduardo Ramírez Villamizar, and Latino art in the United States.
