This course looks at the dramatic and transformative social and political conditions in the United States in the 1930s and the 1940s. We will consider the causes and consequences of the Great Depression, the presidency of Franklin Roosevelt, the cultural ferment of the 1930s, the coming of World War II, America at War, and the postwar world.

This class will be held onsite at WIH.
