Conversational Spanish: Intermediate II (Jan 29 - Mar 4)

Marcela Salas, Ph.D.

This course is designed to further develop writing, speaking, reading, and listening in Spanish by building on what you have learned in beginning Spanish classes to reach greater proficiency and precision. It offers students the opportunity to expand their vocabulary, improve their grammatical accuracy, begin to speak and write in paragraph length, and gain a greater cultural understanding of the Spanish-speaking world.

We will focus on communication goals and structure such as: descriptions, comparisons, reactions, recommendations, likes and dislikes, the future, etc. Learning new vocabulary, narrating in all verb tenses, making hypotheses, and constructing conditional sentences are the main goals to become an independent speaker and rise to the advanced level. Worksheets will be provided during classes.

Placement assistance is available by contacting our office. This is a limited enrollment class.
