If you are looking for a magical place to visit, check out Costa Rica. Bordered on the west by the Pacific Ocean with beautiful sandy beaches, on the east by the Caribbean Sea with a tropical rainforest coastline, and separated by two mountain ranges between coastlines, Costa Rica is one of the most biologically diverse countries in the world. The mountains, volcanoes, oceans, beaches, páramo, rain forests, and cloud forests create intricate and amazing habitats for astonishing numbers of plants, insects, fish, birds and animals. With 30 national parks in a country about the size of the state of West Virginia, Costa Rica is a nature lover’s paradise.

Join us to learn about the amazing biodiversity of Costa Rica! We will begin with an overview of the country and how, when, and where to go for your vacation. Highlighting the astounding diversity of the country, we will focus on the key and unique aspects of this beautiful haven.
