Creative Writing (Mar 21 - Apr 25)

Carol Louise Munn

In this writing workshop, every genre of writing is welcomed. Whether you are a beginning writer or an experienced one, you will benefit from this six-week study of several common elements of writing. These elements will include beginnings and endings, character development, selection of detail, tension, revelation/discovery, and revision. We will study published writing examples as well as writing original responses to class activities and to writing prompts from me. You may use the prompts I devise or bring writing from your own ongoing project. Each week I will read and comment on up to two pages of your writing which I will return to you at the following session. I love creative writing in my own life, and this is the subject that I am excited and honored to teach!

Please bring a page or two of original writing to the first session. This is a limited enrollment class.
