The Write Stuff

Susan Wright

This class draws on such broad vistas as childhood, family, schooling, work, success, travel, love, money, truth and lies, losses, and wins. When writers write, the writer can choose from many genres including memoir, fiction, fantasy, non-fiction, poetry, dramatic dialogue, and commentary. We subscribe to Stephen King’s advice: “Read a lot and write a lot.” The instructor emphasizes that link with optional prompts from literature demonstrating various writing tactics. Written feedback is available for work submitted by each designated deadline. Class sessions focused on reading aloud provide writers opportunity to receive and give suggestions. We honor the ownership of intellectual property and the confidentiality of our writing and discussions. *This is a limited enrollment class.

This class will be held onsite at WIH. This class will NOT be simulcast.
