More World Religions: The Lesser Known & Newest

Jill Carroll, Ph.D.

This class continues the journey into comparative religions that many folks at WIH started last spring, but begins with all new material. In these 12 weeks, we will explore a few of the lesser-known historic religions as well as many of the newer religions that have become global within the last few hundred years. Topics include Jainism, Bahai, Zoroastrianism, Druze, Wicca, Scientology, the Unification Church, Mormonism, Universalism, various messianic sects, the new Animism, and more. No reading, previous classes, or background knowledge in religion is required for this class. Come as you are!
