Liz Herndon

Liz Herndon is a native of Houston, Texas. She received her BA in Plan II and Spanish from the University of Texas at Austin and an MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University. After working in the business world for a few years, she realized that her first love was the Spanish language. Liz now has an after school tutoring service for Spanish and is an active Spanish substitute for several schools in the area. She is also a long time board member and current board chair of Heartgift Houston, and has been a host family for Heartgift Spanish speaking patients coming to Houston for surgery. Liz is married with three daughters.
