Estate Planning Essentials: Creating Peace of Mind for You and Your Loved Ones (Winter 2026)

Patricia B. Green, CFP®

The absence of an estate plan can create significant confusion and conflict for loved ones during an already difficult time. This 5-session course is designed to ensure a smooth transition for those left behind. We’ll break down the estate planning process into manageable steps—identifying goals, preparing essential legal documents, titling assets, planning for incapacity, and involving beneficiaries—so you can begin putting your own plan in motion. While students won’t leave with a finished plan, they will leave with the tools, knowledge, and confidence to keep moving forward. Weekly assignments will help participants complete key pieces of their personal planning workbook, from naming an executor to organizing financial and medical information.

Whether you're just beginning the process or refining an existing plan, this course is a valuable step toward protecting your legacy and easing the burden on those you love. This is a limited enrollment class. Planning materials will be provided with registration and distributed at the first meeting.
