Spanish: Beginning (May 15 - Jun 26)

Alisha Loftin, Ph.D.

*NOTE: Dates have changed since the publication of the catalogue. The correct schedule is below.

This course is for beginning Spanish students. Beginning Spanish focuses on vocabulary and grammar structures suited to everyday/household use and for travel. Topics include pronunciation, greetings, introductions and leave-taking, household items, date, day and time, daily activities and shopping. Grammar structures include asking questions, navigation, gender and number rules, and present-tense and progressive, preterite and imperfect verb conjugations as well as reflexive verbs and object pronouns. We recommend the book “Spanish in 10 Minutes a Day” by Kristine K. Kershul (available on Amazon and other online booksellers) to supplement the beginning and intermediate level.

This is a limited enrollment class.
