The World According to Eric: Monthly Global Intelligence Briefing | June

Eric C. Botts

"For the 28th I will take a deep dive into the migration issue as people are on the move around the globe. This isn't just an issue for the U.S. but a fundamental global phenomenon. What is driving this movement of people? What is the impact of such movement? Is there a solution to this, or should we resign ourselves to finding a way to effectively manage it, let's talk." - Eric C. Botts

Mr. Botts is the Director of Global Cyber Security Program in the Department of International Studies and Modern Languages at St. Thomas University and previously served for 31 years in the U.S Department of State. As a founding board member of the Foreign Policy Alliance, he has spoken on foreign policy issues to the media, civic groups, and at universities and colleges. In these lectures, he will draw on these experiences to do a deep dive into the emerging geopolitical landscape, focusing on the most immediate concerns that are challenging American policymakers in maintaining peace and stability and furthering our national interests.
