Glenn Olsen

Glenn Olsen is a member of Texas Master Naturalists and has served as the president of Native Plant Society of Texas. Glenn is passionate about being outdoors and learning about birds, plants, and all things that crawl. He enjoys taking a hands-on approach to studying nature. He fell in love with nature as a child catching snakes for fun and “borrowing” baby red-headed woodpeckers from their nests to learn about birds. Today, he shares his passion for nature with others through the trips he leads with his company, GO Birding Ecotours, and the classes he teaches at Rice University, Houston Audubon Society, and the Women’s Institute of Houston.
