Lucky Burke

Lucky Burke, over the past 40 years, has amassed one of the most complete collections of Olympic and Paralympic Torches, Participation Medals and Safety Lamps in private hands. In researching these Olympic symbols, he has obtained interesting insights about the games. Lucky graduated from the University of Texas in 1973. He currently serves as Chairman of Reader’s Wholesale Distributors, Co-Chairman of the Houston Methodist Immunology Center, and served as an officer, under three Houston mayors, of the Hardy/Near Northside Economic TIRZ. In addition, he has served on numerous professional and charitable boards.
